Following the announcement of the Kentucky Derby postponement, our signature event of the year will be held on
Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 3-7PM
We offer services throughout the year. Our goal is to focus on the abilities of our participants, and our hard working team of therapy horses and ponies help them achieve, aspire and amaze.
The mission of Southern Reins Center for Equine Therapy is to serve individuals with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities and hardship by providing equine assisted activities and therapies to empower, inspire, nurture and succeed.
In honor and in remembrance of our friend and volunteer, Nick Vergos, Southern Reins has created the
Nick Vergos Scholarship Fund.
This fund provides financial support to give individuals with disabilities and financial hardship the opportunity to participate in equine assisted activities and therapies at Southern Reins. Click Here to visit the Nick Vergos Scholarship Fund page.
Nick will be forever missed by our entire organization, and he will always be remembered for his compassion, caring, and pure joy in celebrating life every day.
