Collierville, TN – Southern Reins Center for Equine Therapy is honored to announce that the organization has achieved the highest industry standard as a Premier Accredited Center by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.). PATH Intl. premier accreditation assists the public in selecting quality centers that deliver safe equestrian services and certifies that a member organization has achieved industry standards for equine-assisted services for individuals with special needs.
The accreditation process is a peer review system where trained PATH Intl. volunteers visit and review centers in accordance with PATH Intl. standards related to facility safety, center administration, equine welfare, and more to provide best practices for promoting safety and optimal outcomes for program participants. Southern Reins was recognized as exceptional during the review process and site visit, receiving a score of 100% in all PATH Intl. standards categories.
Southern Reins is the only Premier Accredited Center in the greater Memphis area and is one of only three in the state of Tennessee, joining the top tier of centers across the country who have received premier accredited status.
